Kindly, welcome Father Chuong and please give your attention to this important appeal, this weekend of July 11-12.
Welcome Father Chuong Cao, C.Ss.R., a redemptorist missionary who will be speaking to us about the vital work being done by Redemptorist missionary priests & brothers served in their over seas missions in Brazil and Nigeria. Father Chuong, a native of Vietnam, was ordained in 2001. He has been a parochial vicar in Houston , TX and was a founding member of an English-Speaking Initative in Biloxi, MS shortly before and following hurricane Katrina where he helped in the rebuilding of the parish church. He also served as the pastor of St. Gerard Parish in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Fr. Chuong is currently serving as the Local Superior and Vocation Director of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Seattle, WA.
Church Picnic Join us on Sunday, August 9th for our annual church picnic. We will start the day with an outdoor mass at 12-Noon. Informational letters and raffle tickets have been mailed, please return your raffle tickets by 8/7.
Also, if you volunteer to bring a dish, NO potato salad or beans are needed, as they are being provided.
If you would like to donate a basket for the picnic raffle, please contact Palma at 216 952 8158 or Heidi at 440 258 5242. Baskets and raffle tickets need to be dropped of by Friday, August 7th.
Sign ups are in the back of the church. Please considering signing up for one of the many volunteer opportunities. You may also call the parish office to find out how you can help.
Food Pantry Our next food pantry will be on Monday, July 27th from 4:30—6 pm. Set up is July 26th after Mass and help is ALWAYS needed for the food delivery which will be on 7/27 at 1:30 pm. Small bottles of laundry& bar soap (unscented preferred) are much needed. Please email amparker259@gmail.com to volunteer.

The Fest—Saturday, August 15th at ForeFront Field (home of the Crushers) Avon – An inspiring day of faith, family and fun! A kid friendly event with faith based activities, great food and giveaways. Live Christian music, adoration, prayer and confession.
End the day with a beautiful outdoor Mass at 8 pm with Bishop Malesic followed by a spectacular American Fireworks display. $10 tickets, children under 2 are free.
